Introduction to the Eight Beliefs of Buddhism

Hakuun Yasutani Roshi (1885–1973) summarized these essential teachings he received from his Zen Master, Daiun Harada Roshi (1871-1961). Genpo Roshi first began teaching about these eight facets of Buddhism in the 1970s under the guidance of his teacher, Taizan Maezumi Roshi (1931-1995).

Now, with the perspective of some fifty years of study and teaching, Genpo Roshi is offering this exploration of the essence of Buddhism in this special event to which all are invited.

Open to all.
